30 days Skin care challenge

Hello my beautiful butterflies….
Who doesn’t want flawless glowing skin…yes?

Most-times we keep experimenting with different high end cosmetic products to get that celebrity like spotless skin. But these products are far from natural and may permanently damage your skin.

As my solution for this, thought I’d start a new section called “Glowing skin series” where I will share some DIY vegan beauty regimes which can easily be done at home, on the cheap and naturally. Ok I’m not a beauty expert but I can share with you certain skin care tips that we Indians know from our moms and grandmoms. It will be about DIY face masks, scrubs, skin care tips and more! So guys let’s together take it as our natural beauty challenge and share our experiences here.

Ok now my first post is about three easy steps which if you follow religiously, will give you a glowing skin.

* 1 tablespoon oats

* 1 tablespoon yoghurt or 1/2 lemon (any one)

* 1/2 tablespoon honey

* 1/2 teaspoon turmeric

Normally, we use all these ingredients to consume in as a part of our food but here I’m going to use them for beauty related purposes like this Brightening DIY Face Mask. Mix all these ingredients well and apply it on face and neck. The mask does get a bit messy so be sure to apply this mask over the sink.

This mask will leave a slight yellow tint on the skin so I usually put this mask in the evening after coming from office and keep it for 20 to 30minutes and wash it off when i take my shower with a mild face wash
Dont worry about the yellow tint, the yellow tint fades away after 1 or 2 washes, no problem.

Aloevera gel as your night cream-
We all know Aloe Vera is one of the best wonders of nature for skin and also hair.

Since I don’t have a balcony in my apartment I am unable to grow an Aloevera plant… But no worries I got to know about Patanjali Aloevera gel which I started using since a month now and would strongly recommend to people with all skin types, since it has nothing to harm anyone’s skin, and its easy on the purse that anyone could afford it. Moreover it glides smoothly on skin and though the skin appears to be sticky for few minutes but after that it turns to be really soft.

Patanjali is An Ayurvedic product- the craze for which is at heights these days. It definitely is a reliable brand.

However as far as I have experienced it’s not this patanjali aloe vera gel that really lightens my skin but its this Oats face mask that does skin brightening.

So friends, lets take this up as a 30 days challenge. I have tried this and it changed my skin texture. I guarantee you that you will notice a difference within 30 days. If you like the result then continue following these steps. And if any of you have tried a better natural tip for glowing skin, please do share your experience here mentioning the ingredients here in the comments below. Let’s all be beautiful together and let’s glam our life.
