My AIRPORT look. Time for jetting home- Kerala here am I!!!

Yesterday, I reached my own land (God’s own country )- Kerala, the land of lush green trees and backwaters and I’m already having a super fun time here with family and friends. Am so thrilled to give some valuable time for parents and that excitement factor is at 110% now which is gonna last here for one full month…Yayyyy

For today’s blog, I wanted to create some travel outfit inspiration for my readers.
It’s not just the celebrities who can travel in style – we all too can, right? Don’t we all want to look sophisticated, elegant and chic when we travel?
Please check out these pictures to see what I’m actually wearing to the airport this time. Love how this outfit is stylish but still is so comfortable to travel in! I love to be comfortable for flights and so this look is my ideal airport style!

My Style tips –
Even if style isn’t a priority for the trip, sometimes people end up packing too much or too little and it ends up giving them a serious headache sometimes, but I like to be prepared with my go-to essentials.
If you’re planning for a travel, lemme share with you some of my airport style tips-

1)Jacket – A jacket is a must on the plane. Or try to wear lots of layers because sometimes it can be chilly on the plane!
2)Sunglasses- Don’t forget to keep your shades in bag even if you travel at night coz maybe the destination you are reaching is sunny and bright.
3)Bag necessities- Carry an over-sized handbag /back pack to fit snacks, bottled water, and of course here in my back pack I carried my passport case, laptop and Ipad, chargers and Earphones too! Also I carried in my bag, Headache medicine, lip balm, Moisturizer , Compact Mirror, lipstic, Small Hair Brush, chewing gum and some sanitary wipes, toothbrush and toothpaste.
4) Be in simple outfit- I don’t really see any fascination with people getting over dressed while travelling. Choose something like Jeans, and simple Tee or even leggings or maxi dress.
5)Full sleeves- Try to wear full sleeved tops if the destination you travel to is a cold place. Here I wore a sleeve-less top as I knew its peak summer in Kerala. So once I am out of flight, I can remove my jacket.
6)Footwear-I see no meaning in wearing a stiletto heels. I don’t think there’s any comfort in running around in the airport in high heels. I personally see comfort in sneakers or sports shoes or a Flat slip-on shoes. Here I used a floral sneaker which is trending these days.
7)Minimum Jewelry- Usually I am not a jewelry lover. I keep it pretty simple with the jewelry, if ever I am using one.
8)Socks- Sometimes I carry a pair of socks too with me to be extra comfy on the plane.
9)Some healthy snacks- if you are not a flight food lover like me, please carry some home made sandwich.
10)Cash/ Bank cards – Not to mention, coz if you forget these, then you may not be smiling 🙈IMG_6284IMG_6279IMG_6278

Tell me, tell me –
So that’s all about me. Am eager to hear about your go -to -airport look. Do you wanna get dressed up like any particular celebrity’s airport style. Also, would you wear a skirt or maxidress while traveling. I personally feel that’s one of the most perfect outfit without sacrificing comfort. I may even opt for a sweat-pant as far as airplane crews don’t throw me out for being so shabbily dressed. That’s a bit of exaggeration but hope you got the picture.

Thanks so much for stopping by and reading this post. I have some looks scheduled for you this month to be shot from Kerala, so be sure to check back!
